Below are additional details on the ask for a resource asap for the next 12 months:

  • Planning, testing and implementation of the Canadian payroll T4 and Relevé 1
  • Plan all deliverables and activities that need to take place, including identify and confirming all the resources who will be the best fit to assist in the realization of each deliverable and activity.
  • Kickoff the initiative with all stakeholders
  • Maintain the detailed plan and activities and their status as the initiative is underway
  • Chair T4-Relevé1 meetings with all participants (example: Payroll, HR, IITS, …); weekly frequency at a minimum, and more often when needed
  • Maintain issue, risk, decision, action item registers
  • Update (or create if needed) documentation and operational procedures to keep them up-to-date
  • SAP support packs, usually starting in September, analyze (including impact analysis), apply and test in November/December
  • Consider updated and new provincial and federal taxation regulations
  • Test, including regression payroll testing
  • Produce individual T4 and Relevé 1, the summary, and electronic files and reported required by provincial and federal government
  • Manager T4/Relevé 1 amendment
  • Issue Troubleshooting and Resolution.
  • Lead the identification, troubleshooting and resolution of S/4 PY-PA-OM issues
  • Work in collaboration with the HR, payroll, finance and IITS departments and resources
  • Payroll audits
  • Maintain issue, risk, decision, action item registers
  • Knowledge Transfer and Continuous Training.
  • Context: Client payroll and HR are currently experiencing turnover and is currently recruiting for operational positions
  • Actively contribute to training new payroll manager, payroll administrative assistants and HR resources (new, or in place)
  • As a subject matter expert, answer questions that HR, payroll, finance or IITS resources would have in regard to payroll and SAP functionalities, expertise and knowledge
  • Maintenance and evolution.
  • New or changed collective agreements: advise on how to plan and implement new/changed calculations, create/update wage types and deductions
  • Stay current with provincial and federal regulation
  • Actively participate to plan, coordinate and implement SAP upgrade identified by client
  • Support to run payroll.
  • Context: Client payroll and HR are currently experiencing turnover and is currently recruiting for operational positions
  • Upon demand, ability to run payroll end-to-end, weekly and or bi-weekly in close collaboration with the Director Payroll and his team
